IPv6!
For those of you with the IPv6 facility we now run ipv6.vision-irc.net which is running on our Rotterdam box. At present this is only box to offer this facility but we hope to add more IPv6 servers in the future.

Site Update
Since our change in staff, as outlined in an earlier news post, we have decided that our website needed a long-overdue overhaul.
The home page lists news articles, both network-related news and certain relevant news articles.
The about page gives brief information about our network, including a potted history of our beloved network
We now have a service status page, which will list any planned or unplanned outages of any of our systems.
The servers page lists all of our current servers, and includes an online/offline indicator.
The newly updated channels page lists all currently active channels on our network. (Please note that the information may be out of date by up to 48 hours at present)
The staff page lists all staff members.
The contact page shows who to contact about what.
We have added a Help section to the site.
The network rules page lists all of our network rules and acceptable use policy.
The services page gives brief help on how to use all of our services (BotServ, ChanServ, MemoServ and NickServ).
The faq page lists some frequently asked questions and their answers.

We are pleased to announce the addition of a new server, and the removal of one server.
The additions is: roubaix.fr.vision-irc.net hosted in France and provided by Blakey.
Beef's German server (Falkenstein) has been removed from service.

We are pleased to announce that our main hub is being moved to a new server, in the UK. This should be completed in the next several days and will hopefully solve the stability issues we have seen over the last several weeks.
Please note that our current hub, manchester.uk.vision-irc.net, will be taken offline by 30 March.

All Change!
We have had a change in network staff.
FriedCPU has decided that he no longer has sufficient time to spend with the network and has taken the decision to step down as our glorious leader. He is staying on as a Services Admin.
CHerron has stepped up to the plate and taken over as our new OverLord.
Miguel joins CHerron and Beef as a Network Admin.
Blakey joins FriedCPU and Daniel_Jackson as a Services Admin.
Playbunnie joins Wizzard93 and Chimp as a Global IRCOp.
